About the state of economy :-)

Hi everyone,

another year has gone by and after more than 1100 blog entries and over 35000 blog views here I am celebrating the 2nd anniversary of the blog.

These are the "most wanted" poems:
1. Mario Benedetti: In defence of joy
2. Fleur Adcock: For Heidi with blue hair (especially for teenagers :-)

3. Wendy Cope: Two cures for love (one of those greate two-liners, and sooooo true :-)
4. Wislawa Szymborska: A little girl tugs at the tablecloth (very funny, especially if you have a baby in the family)
5. Christopher Poindexter: She buried her ears...
6. Pablo Neruda: Ode to the happy day
7. Octavio Paz: Two bodies
8. Mario Benedetti: Tactic and strategy
9. Pablo Neruda: A legszomorúbb vers (Puedo Escribir in Hungarian)
10. Wislawa Szymborska: We knew the world backwards and forwards

So as you see, from the ten most read, five come from Spanish speaking countries, but never in the original language, even though the Spanish version is also available on my blog.
Nobel Prize winner Polish poet Wislawa Szymborska still holds two places from the ten, just as Mario Benedetti and Pablo Neruda does.

Visitors still come from all over the world, like Bahama Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Zimbabwe, Katar, Mauritius, Ghana, Guadalupe... Of course most of the visitors arrive from the US, Hungary, Russia, UK and Germany.

Recently I changed a little the routine: Wednesdays and Saturdays are for Hungarian poems while the rest of the weekdays are for English ones. Later I might return to posting contemporary latin-american poetry in Spanish and in English. Or who knows, I might give terrain to poetry in other languages.

Thank you for your attention, hope to see you around in the future, too :-)
