to save confusion
and embarrassment
when Certain Things
become revealed.

"Desperate"
or

Pretty but can't Cope
With it - Stop Staring."

in our special hats
we could perhaps begin
to let the barriers to
simple common courtesy
melt away
and
brazen as you like
could be polite to one another out there
no more
no less

fantasy i know
but worth it
try it once
you'll find it true
the others will smile
back at you
